Learning and Development
The WS Society supports a new group formed to support learning and development within the Scottish legal profession.
LEADS (Learning and Development Scotland) was constituted in 2011 and meets on a quarterly basis.
The group was formed to share knowledge on all legal training and professional development issues.
It has adopted four specific objectives:
- To act as a think-tank and pressure group on all training and professional development issues;
- To provide networking opportunities;
- To enable knowledge sharing; and
- To support learning and development.
Recent discussions have focussed on the implementation of PEAT 2 / TCPD and the route to qualification.
The group is open to all. Over 100 solicitors and HR professionals participate in the programme. For information on how to join the next meeting please contact Anna Bennett firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit the group's page on LinkedIn LEADS.
