Shepherd and Wedderburn has announced a series of new partner appointments, including the lateral hire of George Frier who will be joining the firm’s corporate team in Glasgow on 1st June.
George joins from McClure Naismith where he was head of their corporate team, and has extensive experience of domestic, cross border and international acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures and financings with a strong focus in the food and drink and engineering sectors.
George’s arrival coincides with the internal appointment of three new partners – Colin Robertson, Colin Archibald and Anna Feros.
Colin Robertson, who joined the firm in 2006 and is based in Glasgow, works in the property and infrastructure division with particular expertise in the renewables sector. Colin Archibald is based in the firm’s Edinburgh office and has over 10 years' experience in commercial dispute resolution, with a focus on construction and property dispute work. Anna Feros is in the firm’s media and technology team with over 15 years' experience in intellectual property and life sciences and is based in the London office.
